Today we built a tour guide pyramid...it was epic!

Tour Guide Picctchass

So today we spent part of the day taking pictures in different groups. We are making a "getting to know your tour guide" slideshow for the beginning of presentations. I think it is a really good idea to do this because it will keep families entertained in that lull time between when they arrive on campus and when their information session starts. Each slide is going to be a tour guide and several interesting facts about them that also relate to the surronding Burlington area (i.e favorite place to eat in B-Town).

This is LZ...she is outside in just a polo because our boss wanted our awesome shirts to be seen in every picture, she was very cold.

So...We lost!

So unfortunately team tour guide did not do so well at the competition! We made it to the second round (out of three elimination rounds) so we didn't completely suck! The question that made us get out was, "Name something that is hard to eat with chopsticks." I wanted to say rice but half the team wanted pizza so that was what we put, we would have won with rice! No I'm not bitter! Haha. We decided to stay and cheer on our friend's team who ended up winning so it was still a fun experience and a great way to spend a Thursday night. It made me realize that I really should become more involved in campus events, they're fun, a great way to break up the week, and the prizes they give away are awesome! For example, my friend won a pretty sweet lava lamp at Bingo night, I know I'm jealous!

In the office this week we had a "Draw Caleb" Competition. Caleb is our boss and we all wanted to draw him to welcome him home at our meeting tomorrow! I'm not sure whether he's going to like all of our sketches or just be really creeped out. Hmmm, I guess we will just have to see!

Family Feud...Tommorow!

Hey Everyone,

So right now we are actively practicing for the big competition tommorow...wish us all luck! Or better yet come and cheer us on! I will try to get a picture or two and maybe even a video (if I am allowed to) of the competition tommorow. So be sure to check in!

Tour Guide Treehouse!

So this main focus of this blog is going to be to entertain all you readers, with a focus on the tour guides of Champlain. After all, we are a very entertaining group - you put 5 loud people in a room at any given time during the work day and it's going to be fun. I included a beautiful picture of us as you can see.

Today we decided to join the Family Feud Competition - Team Tour Guide - so watch out! Unfortunately we had to play rock paper scissors to see who would be on the team and there are some unhappy campers - drama? Probably not.

Now I am going to listen for a funny closing statement - oh we are already practicing! Laura was just shocked to find out we had folders in the office - not very funny but it was the best I could get, I promise we are a funny group! I wanted to put in a video from facebook but couldn't figure out how to so if anyone knows how its on my wall from another tour guide so if you know fill me in!
